hey guys, if you find spam here, can you please let me know. I want to remove it straight away. I check daily but often it happens after I've checked.

we're working on a way of stopping these bastards.

I was over at the phpBB forum and it seems a number of boards have been hit by some new spam bot that gets past some of the basic registration procedures.

I just removed a load of spam from the board today from this new menace.

Hopefully phpBB will have a patch or something a bit more secure to combat this.

I have had to change the security settings so new members can't join again. a real shame, but these spammers just won't stop!
